You’re spending that first wage already aren’t you young man!    It does look a damn fine presentation of a damn fine album, but c’mon Gambo, how many times realistically will you look at all those foldouts/ play all those different versions of the album?

*promotes austerity*
Seal

Yes it's one of the best albums ever made but I already bought it in the 70's. For that reason I feel no desire to buy it again.
Clacker

You'd have to really like Station to Station to buy that many versions of it all at once wouldn't you.
Pond Life

In this case you can count me as a fare dodger.

I was talking to Mick at my do about the Bowie re-issues that have dripped out over the last few years. The second disc of outtakes that came with Space Oddity is almost as good as the original album but I don't think Bowie is one of these artists that left a great deal on the cutting room floor. The imminent re-issue of 'Darkness...' by Springsteen, for example contains up to 25 entirely new completed songs (out of 50 or so he completed but decided not to include on the album eg 'Because The Night').

I have the re-mastered Station To Station so won't be getting this. The sound of the title track played ultra loud is just amazing and there's not a bad track on it.
