Water works buildingsFrom an aesthetic point of view I really love these buildings and the pride the Victorians put into building them. I passed one today which is pretty close to where I live.
A couple from Chesterfield also renovated one as a home on Grand Designs, it made an absolutely stunning home.
And this is the front façade when it was bricked up.

The mad thing is, the whole project on that Water Works only cost £150,000 and that included buying the building and the land.

There's one in Sunbury which is ace. They have filmed David Bowie videos and Red Dwarf there. In fact there a few of these things in my old manor of Hanworth. They are great buildings.

The top one is between Stafford and Rugeley, very near Shugburough Hall and on the edge of Cannock Chase. I live just outside of Stafford.
