How come we don't seem to learn about the pumping it long onto their centre halves heads routine?
At least Colchester and Charlton both lost. _________________ +

Persactly Mick, we play magnificent football against the likes of ManUre and Spurts and then resort to hoofin' playing other teams...
At a ground and team like So'ton and we should be playing football not fucking kick and rush!
I'm back to being fucked off now!! _________________ "If you give Leeds the ball, they will make you dance." - Johan Cruyff.

Stop panicking FFS.
We have got through today and are still 5 points clear in second place and now there are only 10 games to go.
Next up Millwall at home, we owe them one big time and I strongly fancy us to deliver. This next game is Massive , if you can get there , get there and support the lads. |

Don't worry about what other reports are like, just give a few impressions, unless you're a scardey-cat and a big jessie.

Not too sure what I can say without sounding a doom merchant.
We seemed happy to hoof the ball the whole afternoon. Bechio did his bit, trying to get on the end, largely without effect. Beckford spent any time under the high balls on his arse complaining to the ref. He may have had a point a couple of times, but he brought very little to the game.
Southampton look a decent side. They were happy to collect our hopeful hoofs and pass and run at us (like the game should be played). Our midfield was outplayed. Howson huffed and puffed, Snodgrass and Mcsheffrey did little on the flanks. White was getting skinned and turned time and again by a decent looking Southampton winger.
As I said before, we were lucky to go in just the one down, and there is where I had some short lived hope that Grayson would sort it after the break. We were marginally better in the second half but I thought Southampton were always comfortable and the more likely side to add to the scoring.
I'd say that Ankergran, Hughes and Kisnorbo were the only Leeds players that could hold their heads up after that. |

| The only other point of interest was the half a dozen or so home stewards, plus a couple of officers, that it took to "escort" one solitary Leeds fan off the premises. |

Thanks for the report Carp. Worried about the reversion to hoof and hope.
Interested to hear your comments about Hughes. I think he's played really well this season. Looked far more solid at full back - even on the left - than any of our 'proper' full backs have. _________________ Black Beauty. Now there's a dark horse. |

I can't understand the hoof and hope, obviously it worked well mid-week against a lesser team where in the past pretty football against such teams hasn't worked. But to use it against a well drilled footballing side like Southampton is plain idiocy and just asking for a loss. I some times wonder if Grayson is a technical genius or whether he's just plumb lucky!
Anyway, I'll stop whittering for looking like I know what I'm talking about. _________________ "If you give Leeds the ball, they will make you dance." - Johan Cruyff.

It does make you really wonder how we have played so well in the FA Cup to the hoof it up and hope that we seem to be playing at the present.
